Alireza Nazeri, MD, FACC, FHRS, attended Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine in Tehran, Iran, and received his medical degree in 1997. After his relocation to the United States, he served his internal medicine residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI (1994-1997). Furthermore, he conducted his cardiovascular diseases fellowship (2013) and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship (2014) at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. In addition, Dr. Nazeri received board certification in internal medicine (2007) and the subspecialties of clinical electrophysiology (2015) and cardiovascular disease medicine (2013) from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He remains a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS) and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Actively involved in advanced research in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology, his research is published in prominent medical journals and presented at national and international cardiology conferences.
